CDEV 314 - Motor Development and Play 3 hours The study of the sequential development of fine and gross motor skills during childhood. The social, emotional, psychological, cognitive, and physical benefits of children’s play and leisure will be addressed. Methods of assessment and developmentally appropriate practices for planning and conducting movement and play curricula will be discussed. Prerequisites: EDUC 391 or PSYC 391 ; or CDEV 290 and CDEV 291 .
