MATH 106 - Intermediate Algebra 3 hours

Second course in a three-course sequence in algebra. Review of graphing lines. An introduction to solving systems of linear equations, exponents, polynomial expressions, square roots, zeros of polynomials, quadratic equations, and graphs of parabolas. Prerequisites: a passing score on the Columbia College math placement exam or MATH 104  with a grade of C or higher or a score of 19 or higher on the math portion of the ACT or 460 or above SAT score.
