PSYC 270 - Psychology of Emotion 3 hours Study of brain based, sociocultural, and cognitive approaches to emotion, their structure and function and regulation within the social context, the influence of emotion on learning and memory, judgment process, attention, and emotion regulation. The course introduces theory and research in the study of emotion through archival research, writing, and presentation to peers. Prerequisite: PSYC 101 or PSYC 260 .
