EDUC 563 - Management of the Classroom Environment 3 hours

The study of classroom management techniques. Students analyze classroom variables related to organization and governance; study theories relevant to classroom motivation, discipline and communications to evaluate classroom practices; and develop a management system. Includes a 15-hour field experience. This course is part of a program that leads to Missouri certification. Students who do not live in Missouri will be required to sign an attestation that they will complete their field experiences and student teaching in Missouri and will work in Missouri upon graduation. Prerequisite: graduate standing.
