CYSC 612 - Cyber Detection & Response 3 hours

This course prepares students to detect, analyze, and respond to cybersecurity threats in enterprise environments. Topics include security operations, threat management, SIEM implementation, intrusion detection and prevention, incident response, and compliance frameworks such as NIST, HIPAA, and PCI-DSS. Students gain hands-on experience using tools for monitoring, analysis, and containment of cyber incidents. Prerequisite(s): CYSC 515 , CYSC 525 , CISS 575 , CYSC 545 .
