HUMS 200 - Human Behavior in Context 3 hours This course provides an overview of human behavior and development across the lifespan through the lens of social systems theory. Students will learn about the interrelationships among biological, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual dimensions that shape human growth and behavior within an ecological context. Special attention is given to the impact of poverty, discrimination, and oppression on the ability to reach optimal health and wellbeing. Prerequisites: HUMS 110 and PSYC 101
