EDUC 698 - Graduate Student Teaching (MAT only) 9 hours Students engage in Post-Baccalaureate professional practice. Education students practice under the supervision of a master teacher and a faculty member. A seminar experience accompanies practice to facilitate reflection and study of the experience. EDUC 698 is generally a culminating experience in the program of study and may be taken concurrently with EDUC 508 . The application must be completed one semester prior to beginning student teaching (16 weeks). Prerequisite: Completion of all coursework and specifications listed on the Student Teaching Requirement Verification. *A portfolio documenting competency in MoSPE Standards is required before students who complete EDUC 698 will be recommended for certification.
