CHEM 306 - Analytical Chemistry I 5 hours


An overview of analytical chemical techniques with a focus on how data is collected, analyzed and interpreted. The development of analytical methods as well as analytical sampling are discussed as are tools used for the isolation and quantification of chemical samples. Laboratory work is included as part of this course. Students majoring in Chemistry must earn a grade of C or higher. Prerequisites: CHEM 112  and CHEM 112L  with a grade of C or higher; MATH 150  or MATH 180 . $40 lab fee.
