General Education Requirements

The following courses meet associate in arts and baccalaureate degree general education requirements. Some courses have prerequisites. A grade of C or higher is required for all core courses within each goal, the Foundations Seminar (COLL 133 ), and the Freshman Writing Seminar (ENGL 133W ).

Core Courses (27 sem. hrs)
Select one core course from each of the nine goals. A list of general education requirements for each goal can be found here . Elective Courses (9 sem. hrs)
Select three courses with differing subject areas from three unique goals. A list of general education requirments for each goal can be found here . Core Options:
Bachelor’s degree students should choose the core Ethical Reasoning course that fulfills the Ethics requirement within their Bachelor’s degree. Associate degree students should choose a core Ethical Reasoning course that is required by, or allowed within, their Associate Degree. Creative Thinking and Experience
