A certificate in Procurement and Sourcing typically provides students with a basic understanding of processes related to procurement and sourcing management, including topics such as supplier management, strategic sourcing, and procurement process optimization. A Procurement and Sourcing certificate provides additional professional development for military members working in the transportation and logistics field in preparation for civilian employment. The sub area of procurement and sourcing in supply chain management in one of the three central functions within SCM.
Students must complete at least nine semester hours of the certificate with Columbia College. All classes must be completed with a grade of C or higher.
