Statistics is the science of summarizing and analyzing data in order to answer questions and make predictions in the face of uncertainty. The statistics degree will prepare you to solve real-world problems from a variety of disciplines. Because of this ability, statisticians are in demand in all sectors of society including government, business and industry, and research labs.
