HIST 347W - World War I 3 hours Analysis of the causes and consequences of the First World War from a transnational perspective. This course examines the major events of the armed conflict from 1914 to 1918 while featuring the remembrances of men and women around the globe. The impact of “total war” on modernity will be considered, as will the geopolitical re-alignment of the post-war world. Prerequisites: Any 3 hours of a HIST course, ENGL 133W .
