ECON 395 - Financial Markets and Institutions 3 hours Examination of the risks faced by managers of financial institutions and the methods and markets through which these risks are managed. Consideration is given to a wide array of financial institutions including commercial banks, credit unions, investment banks, securities firms, insurance companies and investment companies. Cross-listed as FINC 395 . Prerequisites: ACCT 281 , ECON 293 , ECON 294 , FINC 350 , and MATH 150 or MATH 170 .
