HUMS 300W - Introduction to Research Methods 3 hours This course introduces students to fundamental research methods essential for evidence-informed practice in human services. The course covers research methods, ethical considerations, evidence-informed practice, basic data collection and analysis, and program evaluation. Students will gain practical experience in locating, reading, and writing critiques of research relevant to human services. Emphasis on becoming informed consumers of research to improve service delivery and client outcomes Prerequisites: ENGL 133W and HUMS 200 or PSYC 210 .
