SOCI 112 - General Anthropology 3 hours This course explores the diversity of humanity both in the past and in the present. Anthropology provides a uniquely broad understanding of humankind by integrating the study of human evolution, ancient civilizations, languages, and cultures from around the world. Based on a wide range of case-studies, this course explores what it means to be human, and how it is differently experienced in societies and cultures around the world. Course meets Multicultural graduation requirement. Crosslisted with ANTH 112 .
