COMM 334 - Political Economy of Film and Media 3 hours Examination of the film industry and mass communication outlets as they pertain to political economy. Through the study of ownership as a business strategy and cultural construction, students explore the cultural influence of mass communication. Prerequisite: COMM 214 or COMM 224 .
