ECON 394 - Intermediate Microeconomics 3 hours Intermediate Microeconomics builds upon the knowledge of the Introductory Microeconomics course. The course explores in-depth the underpinnings of consumer choice and firm behavior. Specific topics include a study of the various types of market structures, pricing, externalities and public goods. The concepts of equity and efficiency are introduced. Microeconomic behavior is viewed through the perspective of behavioral economics and game theory. Prerequisites: ECON 294 and MATH 150 or MATH 170 .
